Funding Kindness, Fueling Rescue, Fostering Adoption
Just Tails Foundation for Cat Care is a 501(c)(3) supporting the rescue partners of Biscuits & Beans Cat Café across the northern Shenandoah Valley – helping ensure every cat in need receives compassionate care, a safe place to heal, and the chance to find the loving home they deserve.
They Deserve a Chance
Every rescued cat has a story. Some are found in community colonies. Some are surrendered from loving families facing hardship. Others are strays who simply need a safe place to land. But they all share one truth: they deserve a chance at safety, healing, and a loving home.
Just Tails Foundation for Cat Care exists to help make that chance possible for cats right here in the northern Shenandoah Valley.
We help fund the critical lifesaving efforts of local partnering rescues, shelters, TNR teams, and community caregivers – supporting every step of a cat’s journey. That includes humane Trap-Neuter-Return for outdoor community cats, as well as the veterinary care, rehabilitation, and adoption support that help rescued cats thrive.
From the moment a cat is brought to safety – or a community cat is compassionately cared for in the place they call home – to the day an adoptable cat curls up with their forever family, we help ensure they receive the care, compassion, and second chance they deserve.
The Challenge in Our Community
Local rescue organizations and shelters work tirelessly to help cats in need. They operate on tight budgets, rely heavily on volunteers, and face growing demands every single day. But despite their dedication, the challenges keep mounting:
Rising veterinary costs and emergency medical care needs
Limited funding for TNR programs and community cat management
Increasing expenses for food, shelter, and daily care
More special-needs, senior, and bonded cats requiring long-term support
Many wonderful cats remain unseen in shelters or foster homes – and invisible cats are too often overlooked
Too many cats, not enough resources
That’s where Just Tails Foundation makes a difference.
Your support helps fill critical funding gaps so our local partner rescues can say yes to more cats in need – not stop at capacity or cost.
